The Arapahoe County Fair Needs Volunteers

The Arapahoe County Fair wants you!

The Arapahoe County Fair features a carnival, rodeo, over 4-H animals, homebrew and craft beer festivals, pie baking, kids games, fireworks, and more! The Fair needs hundreds of volunteers to make this year’s event possible. This year the fair will run from July 25-28, 2019 at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds. Special events include:

● Boots Not Suits July 25, 5:30-8:00 p.m.

● Craft Brew Festival July 26, 5:00-9:00 p.m.

● Home Brew Festival July 27, 12:00-5:00 p.m.

This summer tradition has been happening since 1906 and welcomed more than 22,500 visitors last year. Nearly 8,000 volunteer hours make this four-day family event possible. Individuals and Volunteer groups (5-10) people are invited to volunteer, each volunteer receives an Arapahoe County Fair T-shirt, free parking, and free admission to the fair on the day(s) of the shift(s). Volunteer opportunities include:

● Gate Ambassadors

● Greeters

● Mascots & Handlers

● Photographers

● Homestead

● Kids Corral

● Event Operations

● Special Events such as Craft & Home Brew Festival, and Boots Not Suits

Generally, volunteers are needed one hour prior to gates opening and leave an hour prior to closing. Volunteer shifts are now available on these dates:

● 4:00 p.m. – Midnight on Thursday, July 25th

● 11:00 a.m. – Midnight on Friday & Saturday, July 26th – 27th

● 11:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 28th
