The South Platte Water Renewal Partners (SPWRP) invites citizens to the 2nd Annual Community Open House on Wednesday, June 19, from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. at 2900 S. Platte River Drive in Englewood. There will be hot dogs, chips, and lemonade while supplies last.
The free event is an opportunity to learn about local watershed and engage citizens and staff. SPWRP is opening its doors and offering family-friendly activities, interactive tours, and opportunities to meet and learn from water renewal professionals who protect citizen’s health and safety.
Presentations from the Carson Nature Center and the Colorado Environmental Film Festival will be going on throughout the day. Representatives from the Denver Urban Drainage and Flood Control District, the City of Littleton Public Works and the City of Englewood Utilities departments will be on hand to answer questions.

Limited parking will be available, but SPWRP encourages attendees to bike or walk to the event. Please leave pets at home; only service dogs allowed.
