New Playgrounds at Promise and Stern Park

The City of Littleton and South Suburban Parks and Recreation (SSPR), along with project partners, invite the community to celebrate new playgrounds at Promise Park and Sterne Park. Both playgrounds were recently completely remodeled and feature new equipment and amenities.

Join the City of Littleton and SSPR for pizza, entertainment and activities at Promise Park Playground, 233 West Powers Place, on Wednesday, October 3, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. The playground features all new equipment and rubber surfacing. The equipment has a modern aesthetic, alongside natural elements; including a log, boulders, and stumps. Three new picnic tables and the addition of a new shelter provide a nice seating area. Walk or bike to the event, as parking is very limited.

Join the City of Littleton, SSPR, and Arapahoe County Open Spaces in celebrating Sterne Park Playground, 5800 South Spotswood Street, on Thursday, October 4, 4:30 – 6 p.m. Enjoy pizza, entertainment, and activities! The nature-themed playground features new equipment for two to five-year-olds and five to 12 year-olds; including a rope climber, a spinner, a variety of swings and slides and the playground’s signature attraction, the train! Four new benches and trees are located throughout the playground perimeter, and a new sidewalk was added to the south of the playground. Park and playground visitors will appreciate the brand new flush restroom, located just west of the shelter.

Both Promise and Sterne park playgrounds are ADA accessible.
