Missing Teen Found

9-23-2018 UPDATE:  Police are happy to report that the teen missing since the afternoon of Sept. 22nd has been safely located. Govaine Stein-Sanchez was located in the area of the Denver Convention Center, after calling his mother for help. He has been reunited with family.

The Littleton Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing teenager.  He walked away from his home at about 1:30 pm today and has not been seen since.  No foul play is suspected.  The teen is identified as Govaine Stein-Sanchez.  He is a 16 year old dark-skinned Hispanic male, described as 5’8” tall, weighing 200 pounds.  He has black hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with red and black lettering on it and jean shorts.  He walks with a limp and has a tattoo on his forearm that reads “KING.”  Govaine suffers from a brain injury and gets lost easily.  He was also new to the Littleton area and does not know his way around.  He was last seen walking away from his home, northbound, in the 5800 block of S. Lowell Blvd.  If anyone locates Govaine or sees someone matching the above description, please call the Littleton Police Department at 303-795-1551.
