Volunteer and learn about clean water

Bring the whole family to volunteer and learn about clean water. The City of Littleton is initiating some new events that help improve stormwater quality in the city and increase awareness of its protection.

The first event is Thursday, August 9 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Meet at the south end of Sterne Park, near the intersection of Lake Avenue and Sterne Parkway, to learn about clean water. The second event is Saturday, September 8, 9:30 a.m.-12. Volunteers will meet at Sterne Park at the north shelter (next to Bemis Street). Lunch will be provided as citizens help clean up trash and protect the waterways!  All ages are welcome, but children under the age of ten need to be accompanied by an adult.
