City Manager Mark Relph announced today the appointment of Randy Young as Littleton Deputy City Manager. Young has served as the city’s Acting Deputy City Manager since July.
Young brings a wealth of experience in municipal governance to Littleton including prior service as the chief executive of three Colorado cities: Sheridan, Wheat Ridge, and Parker. He earned his masters of public administration and bachelors in business administration degrees from the University of Colorado at Denver. He is a past president of the Metro City and County Manager’s Association and a member of the International City/County Manager’s Association.
“We are really fortunate to have Randy join our team,” Relph said. “His 20+ years of successful municipal management, fiscal responsibility and efficient service delivery is unmatched. He is definitely the right person at the right time to work with the city council, citizens, the staff and me to move Littleton forward,” Relph added.
