Bemis Library is offering the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma with a credentialed career certificate in a high-growth, high-demand field ranging from child care/education to commercial driving to homeland security.
Bemis Library will award 27 scholarships for the Career Online High School (COHS) to qualified community members looking to earn a high school diploma and advance their careers. “Earning a high school diploma is a life-changing achievement,” said Tim Nimz, Littleton’s Library/Museum Director.
COHS is designed to reengage adults into the education system and prepare them for entry into post-secondary career education or the workforce.
COHS pairs each student with an academic coach, who assists with developing an individual career plan, offers ongoing guidance and encouragement, evaluates performance, and connects the student with the resources needed to demonstrate mastery of the course material.
