Wastewater Treatment Plant celebrates 40 years

Littleton City Manager speaking

Congratulations to Littleton and Englewood on four decades of taking care of business! On April 20, the Littleton/Englewood Wastewater Treatment Plant (LEWWTP) celebrated its 40th birthday. City leaders and community members from both cities gathered to commemorate the milestone.

The LEWWTP is the third largest publicly-owned treatment plant in Colorado. It receives sewage from the cities of Englewood and Littleton, as well as from 19 connector districts within the 75 square-mile service area.  Pictured: Littleton City Manager Mark Relph (left) and Englewood City Manager Eric Keck.
