Littleton Twilight Criterium returning

Cyclists racing on Main Street

The Littleton Twilight Criterium is back for its fifth year, and its third year as a national race on the USA Cycling American Road Calendar. The race, which will be held on August 5, will benefit Doctors Care and draw the best competitors from all over the United States.

Racing will start in the afternoon at 3:30 p.m. and finish under the lights at 10:30 p.m. In addition to racing, there will be plenty of food, live music, and a new outdoor beer garden hosted by Breckenridge Brewery. Kids can enjoy the cruiser ride at 7:30 p.m. and other activities, including a rock-climbing wall, face painting, and more. The rock band Blinker Fluid will take the music stage at 3:30 p.m., followed by a classic tribute band Message In A Bottle at 5 p.m. Starting at 8 p.m., spectators can dance in the streets with Denver’s most exciting party band, Home Slice.

Community support for the criterium continues in 2017 with generosity from Pedal, Xfinity, Littleton Adventist Hospital, Arapahoe Community College, SCL Health Community Hospitals, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Littleton, ViewHouse Littleton, Primrose School of Littleton, A Paris Street Market, NOVA Home Loans, Chatham Financial, Pactimo, Safeway, Pro Auto Care, Town Hall Arts Center, and Rocky Mountain Bottled Water.
