Littleton police investigating gun store burglary

On May 24, 2017, at approximately 1:55 AM, patrol officers with the Littleton Police Department (LPD) responded to Triple J Armory at 311 E. County Line Rd. on a burglar alarm.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a black Jeep Cherokee had driven through the front of the store. It was later discovered the Jeep had been stolen from Aurora. The suspects had fled the scene in another vehicle prior to police arrival, leaving the Jeep abandoned at the scene. Security video showed four suspects entering the store and stealing numerous firearms. LPD detectives responded to the scene.

The investigation into the crime will be a cooperative effort between the LPD Investigations Division and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Store employees are working on an inventory to determine exactly what was stolen.
