Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop’s toy drive begins

Inside St. NicksThe Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop is asking the community for donations of new and gently used toys, stuffed animals, books, games, and bicycles that are suitable for children ages 1-10 for the 2016 Santa Claus Shop. Thanks to community donations and volunteers, 2016 will be the 57th year the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop has provided free toys for children in need living in Littleton, Englewood, and Sheridan school district boundaries.

Throughout November, volunteers will collect and sort thousands of toys that will be given to qualified families when the Santa Shop is open. To distribute toys volunteers set up, stock, and serve as clerks for the “toy-store” where qualified parents or guardians use their assigned points to select toys for their children. For information on donations, volunteers, or referrals visit arapahoesantashop.org.
