A new Staybridge Suites hotel is in development review. It would be located near County Line Road, north of the Hampton Inn. Another recently submitted development application is for a new 56 residential unit, multifamily townhome project north of Belleview off of Prince Street. More residents continue to move in to Littleton Village (former Marathon Oil property), and a new 7-11 at the northeast corner of Broadway and Orchard is under construction. Jamison Village, a proposed 36-unit duplex style development located on West Jamison Avenue, also continues to work through the review process. Across Broadway, Littleton Adventist Hospital is seeking approval to expand its parking lots to accommodate more patients and visitors.
Downtown Littleton continues to be busy! The View House recently started a remodel of its next location on West Main Street. A redevelopment of the former Valley Feed property received approval from the city’s planning board for a mixed-use project, which is proposed for four stories. This owner intends to apply for inclusion in the Downtown Historic District.
More details on these projects and many more development activities throughout the city can be found on the city’s website littletongov.org under the Development Activity List (DAL). Make sure to check out the updated DAL tool as well.
Lastly, community meetings for the Mineral Avenue Light Rail Station have wrapped up and on-line questionnaires drew a lot of feedback. More than 300 people participated in generating more than 1,000 comments. Now the draft plan is being reviewed by the planning board and will come before city council later this year.
